HPLMYTHOS.DK Vol. 1
H. P. LovecraftPosted by Harksen Friday, June 22 2007 00:45:45
To the curious: This cover is for my upcoming all-Danish Cthulhu Mythos anthology entitled (translated): From the Shadows and Other Cthulhu Mythos Short Stories. H. Harksen Productions. ISBN-nr.: 978-87-991767-0-0. The first of its kind in Denmark.
The illustration is by Lars Kramhøft (each story is illustrated by him!); the bookcover by Tomas Gindeberg. A sincere thanks to the both for helping me with those aspects of the book.
The book will see publication later August/early September 2007, if all goes according to plan.
Here's the Table of Contents (no translation this time):
Henrik Harksen: "Introduktion: H. P. Lovecraft & Cthulhu Mythos"
H. P. Lovecraft: "Det Unævnelige"
Sarah Fürst: "Cikadernes Sang"
Thomas Strømsholt: "Den Lede Ting"
Helene Hindberg: "En Vesterhavsfortælling"
Martin Svendsen: "Kapaciteter"
Benjamin Szumskyj: "Rædsel i Det Nordvestlige England"
Henrik Harksen: "Fra Skyggerne"
Lars Konzack & Ian Dall: "Tilfældet H. P. Lovecraft"
Thomas Winther: "Afgrunden"
Biografi.
I also owe a very sincere thanks to the talented & diverse crew of new authors helping me put this vessel on the high seas of small-press publication...

Thanks for your comments.
Tomas - I hope to have the hplmythos.dk site up within the next 14 days (but, as you know, I also have other editorial obligations that need attending, so I don't have THAT much sparetime, hehe;-}). And, yeps, it is very likely I will drop by and say hi on Sundays :-)
Lars - cool illustration for "Tilfældet..."!!! I hope you don't mind if I put it up here soon? (In a day or two.)
Christina - thanks a lot. Yeah, it's a dream (close to) come true... Wonderful... Couldn't do it without the talented people agreeing to make it happen. I've been very fortunate in that regard, that's for sure.
More soon.
