Harksen's HPL Blog of the Unspeakable

Just a Beginning

This is the very first attempt to incorporate a Blog to my website concerning matters Lovecraftian. So bear with me if this ends up looking a little weird.

Updates re. Cthulhu Mythos Material etc.

Hi again,

Phew, it's been a while. And so much has happened since last I wrote here. I apologize...

The HPLMYTHOS.DK #1 has been selling quite well and steady since February. More than I anticipated--which, of course, is great. Neither I nor the authors are going to get rich because of it, but at least there's going to be some payment on their bank account when that time comes. Something that pleases me immensely--they sure deserve itsmiley

The book can also be found at various libraries. Check out www.bibliotek.dk to find out if it's slithering on some dark shelf near your homesmiley

Hopefully, soon you can order it online on the various, larger Danish net sites, and in bookstores as well (currently you can only find it in Arnold Busck, Odense gågade). I've made steps to ensure that but can't quite figure out how long it will take till it's actualized. More on that when I know it...

UPCOMING PROJECTS:

Within the next couple of days I will post some news on this on the www.hplmythos.dk website (gotta run the text by the webmaster first) but I want to share the good news with you here as well--

Mss. are coming in from around the world to the English HPLMYTHOS project (now retitled "hplmythos.com", btw), and it is looking good so far. Very good.

In fact, I am proud to announce that this project will feature, among others, a brand-new Sesqua Valley story by Willum H. Pugmire, not to mention the chilling "One Thousand and One Words" by famous Forgotten Realms author, Paul S. Kemp!

Ain't that something, folks?smiley

Good, intriguing stories are showing up on my virtual doorstep to the broader Danish anthology (no title yet) as well. That one's focusing on horror tales, weird tales and all kinds of sinister, dark stories--and does not have a Lovecraftian/Cthulhu Mythos spin.

Interested? Check out more on this link: http://www.hplmythos.dk/nyeprojekter.htm

Feel free to submit a ms. I can promise that I will read it--and that's the first step towards publication, right?smiley

More to come...
